Don't Run 03:41
I like what you do, hey Dancing on my silver spoon, hey I won't try to capture you Just Don't Run I am stretched, I am breathing I am prone to decieving But I won't lie to you Just Don't Run I will invade you, oh anticipate you running I like what you do, hey Makes me give into you, hey That is what two fires do Just Don't Run
2.
Closing Time 05:32
Meet me on the other side of now Corner me, the weekend is over now Back along the shelf I'm his to keep Memory the only mark we leave It's closing time, it's closing time Fascinating fingers filing keys It's as if he knows the way it makes me feel Every nook and aisle our whole country Tiles and echoes Turning effortlessly It's closing time, it's closing time Hungrily dancing on a knife It's the only time of day I feel alive Lives that exist just beyond the door Are carefully exploding on the floor It's closing time, it's closing time
3.
Bitter 03:15
Bitter like coffee in your mouth I look sweeter than honey in your eye And I'm waiting for you to realise that I'm bigger, I'm bigger than this night My belly is tight when I'm alone And I'm waiting beside the telephone And I hunger for you to realise that I'm bigger, I'm bigger than this night Crazy, I'm crazy in my mind And I'm hungry, tires and justified But I'm bigger, I'm bigger, I'm bigger I'm bigger than this lie
4.
Oh my love Will you only bet on me Will you lay them all out All your cards and your doubts And only have eyes for me Oh my love Are you strong enough To carry me For I tire easy And I can be mean Will you only have eyes for me Oh my heart It hurts with every beat It's overfull And hard to heal Will you only have eyes for me
5.
Ache 03:24
It's not time to hold back, it's not time to keep track. Ache. It's not right to radiate, it's not that appropriate. Ache. I have worn myself through. Wearing a hole meant for you. Ache.
6.
Peace with our eyes closed Unfortunately you have to go I would jump any plane I wait for word and I don't complain I fill my time with trivia things I clean my car and I write down things But I miss peace with our eyes closed Unfortunately you have to go Oh Can you see I don't pretend Life with me will never end Oh if you could lay me down My feet would never touch the ground Oh Peace with our eyes closed Unfortunately you have to go
